Junibacken

Hey everyone today we visit Junibacken a children�s museum in the middel of Stockholm.
The museum is devoted to Swedish children�s literature, but especially Astrid Lindgren. Here we are in front of the sign over the entrance. You could see all children heroes of Astrid Lindgrens stories.
Here are smal Mugglas, living in a tree. These are figures from the childbook Pettson and Findus written by  Sven Nordqvist.
Here is Stinky, a character of the Moomins childbooks behinde chicken wire.
Outside the building is a bronze statue of Lindgren. We are sitting in her bronz scarf.

Skansen

To day we visit Skansen an outdoor museum in Stockholm.
Skansen in an exciting place! We took a look at Swedish old buildings ans saw old traditions and Nordic animals.
An old south Swedish house.
This building look like the hous of the witch Baba Jaga.
We saw a elk!
This buildings was from the north of Sweden.
Those two are standing in front of  Skansen... They are called Charlie und Emma.

We visit Stockholm a second time...

 This is the Tivoli Gr�na Lund a theme park on the peninsula Djurg�rden a district of Stockholm.
We go by ferry from Djurg�rden to...
  the historic city of Stockholm
 One of the famous alleyways in the historic city. We have been here last year in September...

We visit Stockholm, the capitol of Sweden!

Ta-dah! Stockholm here we come! The city hall with the three crowns on top.
The capitol of Sweden are built on 14 islands, so it�s water everywhere!
The flag told us that the king of Sweden was at home:-)
But he did not come out to greet us ... and we did not get past the Guard nor to visit him;-)
Hi, can you see us posing with the guard?! He was no so enthusiastic...Hint: look down left...

This is the tower belonging Stockholm cathedral.
Viktoria married her Daniel there last summer:-)
The Sager House (Sagerska huset) or Sager Palace (Sagerska palatset)
is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Sweden at Str�mgatan 18.
Unfortunately it is now being renovated and is green ...;-)
Nice view at the parliament buildings.
And then we walked to the old town and it was great to see all the old houses and it was really a lot of people here, most tourist like us.

We met a famous Swedish writer and her characters...(Astrid Lindgren)

And we also met a famous swedish author, artist, composer and singer.
He is best known for his folk songs, and is widely regarded
as one of Sweden's most respected musicians. (Evert Taube)
Tired of the feet, but happy, we ended our tour Stockholm at Sergel Square.
There's plenty more to see, but we were completely exhausted.
Hope that we come to Stockholm again!
